Definition
Leasing is the act of entering into a Contract whereby the lessee (user) pays the lessor (owner) for use of an asset.
Examples
- Property, buildings and vehicles are common assets that are leased.
- Industrial or business equipment is also leased.
Service Domain
Enables customers to finance equipment purchases using the leased item as collateral when necessary.
