Definition
Count. Enumeration of the multiplicity of a set. Assigning a number (the cardinality of the set).
Example
- The SP500 index counts 500 entities

Issues and Challenges
- In sets of objects that have multiple attributes (e.g. a loan portfolio includes loans that can be described using a range of values)
