This is the main mathematical / conceptual category covering the mathematical concepts needed to support descriptions of things elsewhere in the manual and the high-level abstractions that frame these concepts.

Concepts include parameters and values, past present and future values; differences, curves and surfaces and other analytical primitives, formulae and their component parts and so on.
