Definition
Business Continuity Testing (or Exercise) is the set of activities (testing and validation exercises) that aim to assess the suitability of a Business Continuity Plan and associated Business Recovery Strategy to meet its objectives towards adequate Business Continuity Management.[1]
Objectives
BC Testing aims to provide a competent review of an existing organizational plan and result in a set of qualititative and quantitative assessments of Readiness and potential recommendations. The precise approach depends on the organization and scope of the exercise.
