Definition
Transaction. It is the action of executing a function or an application.
Example
An example of a transaction is the execution of a purchase order at the point of sale and the processing of authorization and clearing messages.In the case of Bitcoins, the transactions record monetary parameters. In other blockchains, it can also be the results of smart contracts.
