Definition

Refinancing Risk is a type of Credit Risk that applies when a Loan or other form of Credit is not Self Liquidating (repaid from income generated by the Borrower during the lifetime of the contract) and thus must be refinanced (succeeded by another loan) when it reaches maturity.
