Definition
Portfolio. A (financial) portfolio is collection of investments (financial assets) such as stocks, bonds and cash equivalents, as well as mutual funds, loans or other credit products. It is a grouping of assets.
Assets in an efficient portfolio yield the same rate of return, as estimated by the manager, corrected for Risk.
