Hazardous Waste

Definition

Hazardous Waste is any unwanted or unusable material or substance that is discarded after primary use (or is worthless, defective, of no use) and poses a substantial or potential threat to public health or the environment.

Context of EU Law

Hazardous waste means waste which displays one or more of the hazardous properties listed in ^[1]. Hazardous waste is defined in ^[2]
