Green Mortgage

Green Mortgage is any loan securitized against real estate where the conditions of the Mortgage are linked to the environmental footprint of the property. A green mortgage may concern an existing or new property.

Example

A green mortgage may offer better borrowing rate in return for purchasing a more energy efficient home or committing to implement energy saving work within an existing property
