Definition
A GHG Inventory is the enumeration of an entity's contributions to Greenhouse Gas Emissions [1]. Other terms used in the same context are: GHG Accounting and Carbon Footprint. Planning for climate action begins with developing a GHG inventory.
NB: In other contexts one might use the term Scope, but in the context of GHG emissions GHG Emission Scope has a very specific meaning.
