Definition
Forwarder's Cargo Receipt. It is a document issued by a freight forwarder or freight consolidator showing that the products have been received from the vendor and are being held on behalf of the buyer.
Goods are generally received in the vendor's country, and the forwarder/consolidator arranges shipment to the buyer based on the buyer's instructions.
