Definition

Environmentally Extended Input-Output Data. EEIO data refers to EEIO emission factors that can be used to estimate scope 1, 2, and upstream scope 3 GHG emissions for a given industry or product category. EEIO data is particularly useful in screening emissions sources when prioritizing data collection efforts.
