- Acquiring central purchasing body is the role of an agent procuring activities conducted on a permanent basis in the form of the acquisition of supplies and/or services intended for other buyers. In public procurement the role of Acquiring Central purchasing body is carried out by a Central Purchasing Body for other Contracting Authorities.
- Awarding central purchasing body definition is the role of an agent procuring activities conducted on a permanent basis in the form of the award of public contracts or the conclusion of framework agreements for works, supplies or services intended for other buyers.
