Definition
Anchor Party (Also Anchor Client) is a party (usually a large Buyer) who facilitates a buyer-led Supply Chain Finance programme for its suppliers and whose credit risk is the economic basis of the finance provided. It is also used to describe a large seller, which orchestrates a programme of Receivables Purchase financings in relation to its customers [1]
