Definition

Agent. A person, company, or organisation that has an influence on the economy by producing, buying, or selling [1].

Contexts

  • In Equator Principles context, an Agent is an entity which acts on behalf of the Lenders. In some situations, an EPFI may be appointed as an Environmental Agent to ensure that all Equator Principles requirements are met.
  • In EProcurement Ontology context, a person, an organization, or a system that acts in procurement or have the power to act in Procurement.
