Definition

The term Investment is used in the broad sense: “Putting money into activities or organizations’ with the expectation of making a profit.”

Most forms of investment involve some form of risk taking, such as investment in equities, debt, property, projects, and even fixed interest securities which are subject to Inflation Risk, among other risks.
