Definition

Underlying Issuer. A party which is the issuer of a Covered Warrant. This party is by definition the issuer of the underlying securities.


Issues and Challenges

Specializes the term "Issuer" for different instrument classes; this specialization is not present in ISO FIBIM where the term is "Issuer" in each case.
