The Sustainable Finance Matrix is an organizational scheme to help identify and categorize the broad range of initiatives the go under the term Sustainable Finance
Motivation
Motionation for the Sustainable Finance Matrix is the complex landscape of emerging practices on the finance side, coupled to the broad scope and ambiguity of the Sustainability side.
Legend
Horizontal Dimension
The horizontal dimension has a number of columns. The first group contains a (broad brush) overview of the different areas of the financial industry on the left side and the three columns of ESG Criteria on the right side.
Vertical Dimension
The vertical dimension of the matrix spans the specific instances of financial services provision.
