Definition

Refinancing Risk is a type of Credit Risk that applies when a Loan or other form of Credit is not Self-Liquidating (repaid from income generated by the Borrower during the lifetime of the contract) and thus must be refinanced (succeeded by another loan) when it reaches maturity.
