Definition
Capital Goods are goods, other than material inputs and fuel, used for the production of other goods and/or services.
There are three categories of capital goods:
Capital goods include
- factory buildings
- machinery
- locomotives
- lorries and tractors.
Land (Real Estate) is not usually regarded as a capital good.
