Definition
Free Carrier. It is a shipping term included in a contract of sale meaning that the vendor fulfills its obligation to deliver when he or she has handed over the products, cleared for export, into the charge of the carrier, freight consolidator, or freight forwarder named by the buyer at the named place or point.
