Definition
XBRL Hypercube is a XBRL technical term for a multi-dimensional table.
A cube is defined by combining a set of dimensions (axes) with a set of concepts.
Cubes are often referred to as "hypercubes". Unlike a physical, 3-dimensional cube, a hypercube may have any number of dimensions. It is an arrangementt of related data synonymous with a business intelligence or data warehousing "cube".
