A Scorecard Attribute is a particular value of a Scorecard Characteristic.
Attributes for each scorecard characteristic are defined in terms of simple predicates (mappings):
- If the characteristic is represented by a Numerical Variable the associated predicate is used to implement a mapping from a range of continuous values to a Partial Score. The set of ranges defines a Binned Variable and the process is called Coarse Classification.
- If the charactestics in a Categorical Variable the associated predicate is used to implement the mapping of categorical values to partial scores.
