Definition
A Generic Credit Scorecard (also Pooled Data Scorecard) is any Credit Scorecard that is constructed on the basis of general data and not customized for the specific population that is subject to Credit Scoring
Usage
- A small financial institution that does not have resources to develop / customize its own Credit Scoring System
- A new Financial Product without any internal history
- As a Challenger Model in the context of Model Validation
