Definition
An XBRL Collector is a person or organisation that receives or retrieves XBRL reports for the purpose of collecting and/or analysing the data within them.
Collectors may include (but are not limited to) regulators and other government agencies, stock exchanges collecting financials from listed companies, banks collecting credit risk reports, and companies collecting financial data for consolidation.
