Holder Response Message

From Open Risk Manual

Definition

Holder Response Message. A message conveying the Holder's choice in some Corporate Action.

The message identifies the Corporate Action that they are a response to. In the event that they are not, this is highlighted in the message instructions - these are identified as such as in the ISO 15022 descriptions. See worksheet: some responses can be responses to more than one kind of message. Based on the type of notificaiton, there are various applicable response types. Based on the message sent out as a notification there are some or all of these responses, as being the possible responses to the message itself. That is down to the notifying party. Specified in the Notification what available responses there are.
