Baseline Energy Scenario

Definition
Baseline Energy Scenario is a hypothetical description of what would have most likely occurred in the absence of any considerations about climate change mitigation.
For grid-connected project activities, the baseline scenario is presumed to involve generation from the Build Margin, the Operating Margin, or a combination of the two.
