Definition

Whistleblower denotes a person legally related to an organization who reports breaches of applicable law occuring within that organization

EU Context

A reporting person as defined in Article 5(7) of Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of persons who report breaches of Union law
