Total Debt Expense Ratio

Definition

Total Debt Expense Ratio. A portion of 100 that represents the ratio of all monthly debt payments of all the borrowers, including proposed housing expenses, to the income of the borrowers as relied upon to make a credit decision

This is not connected to an individual borrower because it is computed from data from multiple borrowers.
