Definition
Quantity Value. Number and measurement unit together giving magnitude of a quantity
The quantity expressed by a quantity value is the quantity whose ratio to the measurement unit is the number. Note that dimensionless quantities may not have a measurement unit associated with them.
Example
2 days, 3.5 hours, 150 lb, 45.5 miles
