Qualification of Vendors. According to the American Society for Quality,the vendor qualification is the process of demonstrating whether an entity is capable of fulfilling the specified requirement. In the process, a vendor is evaluated to determine whether or not it meets the basic qualification requirements and the possible standards of the merchandize group. It is necessary to evaluate also if the vendor can provide the services required by the specific organization that is doing the evaluation.
