Promised Cash Flow Asset

Definition
Promised Cash Flow Asset. An asset which takes the form of some promised future cashflow. This may be securitized.
For example, exotic Cash ABS instruments may be created where the underlying asset is not a pool of securities or debt but a promised cash flow. People have securitized the cash flows of businesses, artists, mobile phone tower income, airplane leases, lotto receivables, etc.
