Occupational hazards encompass many sub-types

  • chemical hazards
  • biological hazards (biohazards)
  • psychosocial hazards, and
  • physical hazards
    • ergonomic hazards
    • workplace accidents

Mitigation

The Risk Management activity (including Risk Mitigation) of occupational risk usually goes under the name Occupational Safety and Health (OSH).
