Definition
Memorandum. A semi-formal communication from one party to one or more other parties, communicating some information to them and identifying the fact that this has been communicated.
As well as the usual context of a memorandum (which is captured in the above definition), this is also used specificalyl for offering memorandums for securities issues. This is the main reason this term is included at present. Term origin:SR Modeling
