An Economic Capital Analyst is an individual involved in the internal tools and processes that aim to link the Risk Capital structure of the firm to its risk management profile and objectives.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Inform Asset liability management (ALM)
- Assist Financial planning (merger and acquisition analysis, business growth strategies and capital management)
- Regulatory compliance. Use of internal risk management models in the satisfaction of SREP / ICAAP
- Inform Investment strategy
- Support Risk Pricing
- Support Reserving
- Support Risk Hedging
- Support Risk Attribution
