Draft Document Part

From Open Risk Manual

Definition

Draft Document Part. A section or component of a document that is in draft; this is later to to be a part of a formal document. Ahead of formal release of that document this part may be originated, reviewed or managed as a separate information deliverable.

This is a Part in the sense that it is or may form part of something; it is not defined as "a part of something" (i.e. this is like a wheel, whereas "a part of something" is like a nearside front wheel). Therefore removed the "is a" relationship to "Part", which only defines parts in the latter sense. For clarity, it may be desirable to add a new concept "Part of a Document" as a child of "Part". To be considered after mereology upper model is finalized (MGB, 3 June 2011).
