Closed Reporting

From Open Risk Manual

Closed Reporting is a reporting programme in which the set of data points that is to be reported is prescribed completely by the collector of the reports.

The process to be followed by a preparer in a closed reporting programme is analogous to completing a paper form, as the boxes that may be completed are prescribed completely by the creator of the form (although as with paper forms, closed reporting programmes may include specific points of flexibility, such as where rows in a table may be repeated as many times as required).
