Definition

Business Reporting is any document (paper based or digital) that is used to convey Business Information in order to satisfy a specific Reporting requirement of a Business Entity.

Reporting Types

Business reports are typically periodic in nature and can include

  • annual reports
  • risk reports
  • tax reports and
  • internal enterprise performance reports.

Report Content

Business reports may include

  • tabular data
  • descriptive text
  • individual numeric facts
  • charts or graphs, or any combination of the above.
