suspects coolly talked their way through a recorded call to gain access to a Deerfield Beach mans bank account and steal more than $12,000. He pretended to be the victims son and placed himself on the account and the bank went ahead and [approved it], believing he was legitimate, Iwaskewycz said. Once the joint account was established, Cherestal transferred money into his personal account and started making withdrawals, the detective said. (English)
