Definition

Loan or Advance based Supply Chain Finance is an umbrella category for a variety of Supply Chain Finance business models that include loans and advances made against receivables, rather than by means of purchase. Other techniques that are also based on loans and advances are: Distributor Finance, Loans or Advances against Inventory and Pre-shipment Finance.
