Definition

Client. A party that purchases professional services from, or has a formal relationship to purchase services from another party. A customer of a finance provider. In the context of the latter usage, the word client is used for the client of a finance provider. It is also used extensively to describe the user of a service offered by a professional, or generally as a synonym for customer. Legally, it is the contracting authority of the contract.

In some cases, the word client indicates the access device in an IT Platform.

In the context of a Loan Agreement a Client may be described as the Project Company, ProjCo, the Company or the Borrower.
