Definition

Business Continuity Contingency Arrangements are the provisions set in place ex-ante to help mitigate the impact of a Business Disruption event. These will be typically part of a Business Continuity Plan

Examples

The type of contingency arrangements will depend on the nature of the organization and its business and may include:[1]

  • Hot Site
  • Cold Site
  • Buddy Organizations (within the sector)
  • Split-Operations
  • Work from Home Arrangements
  • Prioritization of services/operations
